

Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is currently attending a mass at the Gospel Confirmation Centre—Kenya Church in Machakos County.
Gachagua, accompanied by his spouse, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, is leading a host of opposition leaders in the service.

The former second-in-command's motorcade arrived at the church located in the outskirts of Machakos town at around 10.30 am on Sunday.
Gachagua, on his arrival at the church, was received by the church and local leaders as he was given a flower by a girl. He then signed a visitors book before joining the congregation.
In attendance is a section of the Ukambani leaders, the majority, elected on the Wiper Democratic Party-Kenya ticket.
