
The National Youth Service (NYS) has announced available job opportunities for trained fabricators.
In a statement on X, NYS stated that through its Employment Liaison Office, it has successfully identified job opportunities in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
NYS noted that it is a great opportunity for skilled
fabricators to gain international experience and have a source of income.
“This is your chance to work with top employers, gain
international experience, and earn a salary,” NYS said.

Applicants are required to meet the following qualifications: be a National Youth Service graduate, have a Diploma/Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
They must also have completed a course in Welding and Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering (Production), or any Metal fabrication-related course.
They should have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings.
Applicants who will pass the test and don't have a travel passport will have their Passports Fast-tracked.
The employment period is two years and can be renewed.
NYS has reassured Kenyans of its commitment to linking NYS graduates

both locally and overseas,” NYS stated.
NYS is a government-run program that provides training,
employment opportunities, and a sense of national service to young Kenyans.
It was established in 1964 to help resettle youth and train
them for national service.
It also aims to equip young Kenyans with skills, build
character, and instill a sense of patriotism and service to the nation.
