

The deceased committed suicide by hanging himself inside his
house using a nylon rope on the rafters of the house.
The area assistant chief reported the incident.
Police officers from Kibugu police station visited the
scene and processed it.
“The body was removed and taken to Embu Level Five Hospital
Mortuary awaiting postmortem,” police said.
In Migori County, a 23-year-old form four student from Oyani
SDA Secondary school died by suicide.
The deceased died by hanging himself using a red electrical
wire, and his body was found dangling on the rafters in the sitting room.
The area chief, West Kanyamkago, reported the incident.
OCS Uriri, DCI, and his team visited the scene and found the
body dangling on the rafters in the sitting room with no visible injuries.
“No suicide note was recovered, the body was removed to
Migori Level Four Hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy,” DCI noted.
Elsewhere in Homabay County, a 47-year-old from Buche village died by suicide by hanging himself from a tree using a sisal rope within his
homestead.
The incident was reported by the South Kanyamwaa location chief, who had earlier met the deceased at Kobodo market, possessing the sisal rope, which is believed to be the one he used to commit suicide.
Police officers from both the Kobodo police station and DCI Ndhiwa
visited the scene and found his lifeless body lying there.
“22-year-old son to the deceased who discovered the body of
his father reacted by cutting the rope using a machete in an attempt to save the
life of the deceased,” DCI noted.
The scene was processed, and the body was moved to Manyatta Community Nursing Mortuary, awaiting autopsy.
