President William Ruto will officially begin his week-long development tour of the Mt Kenya region today. 
Ruto who will be accompanied by several leaders from the region will be in Laikipia County. 
He is scheduled to inspect and launch some development projects at Rumuruti in Laikipia West Constituency, Nanyuki in Laikipia East and Narumoru in Kieni Constituency.
On Wednesday, he will tour Meru and Kirinyaga counties.

CS Mulongo office handover 

The Ministry of Health will host the official handing-over ceremony, during which Aden Duale will assume office as the Cabinet Secretary for Health from the outgoing CS, Deborah Mulongo.

The event will take place at Afya House grounds from 11 a.m.

Later, Mulongo will take over from Duale as the new Environment CS at the SHA building.

MPs set to tour UoN 

The National Assembly's Committee on Education is set to conduct an inspection tour of the University of Nairobi.

The Committee shall thereafter meet the management of the University led by the Vice-Chancellor.

National cohesion meeting employment diversity 

The National Cohesion and Equal Opportunities Committee is scheduled to meet the CEO of the National Police Service Commission on employment diversity and 30 per cent AGPO representation.

It will be held at parliament buildings.
