Basic Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang has been moved in the latest changes announced Thursday by President William Ruto.
Belio who has served in the position since 2022, has been named the new PS for Immigration and Citizen Services.
He has been replaced by Julius Bitok who has been serving in the position.
"These changes are driven by the need to harness the opportunities within emerging sectors of the economy, as well as to address challenges affecting Kenya's social fabric," read the notice.
"Collectively, the changes seek to further accelerate the implementation of the Administration's seminal socio-economic blue-print, the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
