Kenya Power has announced areas in 10 counties scheduled for power interruption on Wednesday.
The power interruption will occur at diverse times between 8 am and 5 pm in the different counties.
The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Machakos, Nakuru, Nandi, Kakamega, Tharaka Nithi, Nyeri, Kiambu, Kitui, and Kilifi.
Nairobi
Parts of Nairobi scheduled for power interruption are Highrise East, Magiwa, Highview East, Part of Kenyatta Hospital, KMTC, Mbagathi Hospital, Part of Nairobi West Prison, Canaan East and adjacent customers.
The areas will face power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.
Other areas in Nairobi to face power disruption from 9 am to 5 pm include Umoja 1 A-Part of Tena East, Umoja SDA Church, Umoja 1 Primary and Health Centre, Umoja 1 Market, Deliverance Church Umoja, Umoja Inner Core, and adjacent customers.
Machakos
Parts of Machakos scheduled for power cuts from 9 am to 2 pm are Graylands 1,2,3,4, Sunda Industries, and Sidai Village.
Nakuru
Parts of Nakuru will experience power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Vegpro, Flamingo, part of Kamere, Kongoni, Hippo Point, Oloiden, Rain Forest, Aquila Farm, Ndabibi, Eburru Hills Farm, Kijabe Limited, Evergreen Avocados, Ever-green Herbs, Moi Ndabi, Sero, Ng'ondi, Maiella, Sagutiek, and Tangi Tatu.
Nandi
Areas in Nandi will face power disruptions from 9.30 am to 5 pm.
The areas are Cheptabach Secondary, Market and Village.
Kakamega
Areas in Kakamega are set to experience power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm.
The areas include Bukhakanga Market, Shihome, Lukume Market, Ibiakalo, Mutsuma Secondary, Powerspot, and Musindi.
Tharaka Nithi
Parts of Tharaka Nithi to face power interruption from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm include Mwanjate Market, Kibiga Kya Athi Primary, Chuka Tvt, Kathanga Market and adjacent customers.
Nyeri
Areas in Nyeri will experience power interruption from 8 am to 5 pm.
The areas are Kiriani Town, Kandabibi, Kagumoini, Kamacharia, Thuita, Kiaguthu Hon Maina Kamanda, Ngoe Village, Kiriani Girls, Kiru Boys, Kanjama Market, Umbui Market, KCB Bank, Family Bank and Equity Bank.
Kiambu
Parts of Kiambu set to face power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm are St.Monica, CRF, Nembu Secondary, Mutati, Kahuguini Shops, Karembu, Garoa East, Gateiguru, Nginduri, Thuita Secondary and adjacent customers.
Kitui
Areas in Kitui will face power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm.
The areas are Iganga, Mlango, Kisasi, Musa, Mbitini, Voo, Kitungati and adjacent customers.
Kilifi
Parts of Kilifi to face power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm include Mwango, Mkoroshoni, Basi, Mzongoloni, Mtondia, Tezo, Chumani, Magorani, Zowerani, Ngerenya and Roka.
