Ojwang was arrested in Homa Bay and brought to Nairobi
Central Police Station, where he died in the cells.

The group was dispersed by anti-riot police waiting
outside the National Police Service headquarters, Jogoo House.
There was a contingent of police as they prevented
protestors from accessing Parliament Road.
This comes at a time when the Finance CS John Mbadi is
expected to read the Budget 2025/ 2026.
