President William Ruto on Tuesday chaired a Cabinet meeting at State House in Nairobi. 

The President updated members on the progress of key transformative infrastructure projects as the country advances its development agenda.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki was present during the meeting.

During the Cabinet meeting, Ruto announced that construction of the Bomas International Convention Complex will begin in two weeks.

Ruto chaired the meeting ahead of his development tour in Nairobi. 

The President on Monday launched the Sh50 million Nairobi River Regeneration Programme.

He also commissioned Kamukunji Technical Vocational College in Kamukunji Constituency before launching the second phase of the Nairobi River restoration works.
