Facebook remains the world’s most popular social media platform as of February 2025, boasting 3.07 billion monthly active users, according to data from Statista.
YouTube follows with 2.53 billion users, while Instagram and WhatsApp tie in third place, each recording 2 billion users. TikTok ranks fifth with 1.59 billion users, trailed by WeChat at 1.38 billion.
Other platforms in the top 10 include Telegram (950 million), Facebook Messenger (947 million), Snapchat (850 million), and Douyin (766 million).
The figures highlight the continued dominance of Meta-owned platforms — Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger — in the global digital landscape.
