Kiharu MP has graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi.
The ceremony was held at the university grounds on Friday morning for the class of 2025.
UoN congratulated the MP on the fete.
“Congratulations to Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro on your graduation. Ndindi Nyoro is graduating today with a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi,” UoN tweeted.
Nyoro took his undergraduate studies at Kenyatta University, studying Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and was a student leader at the same university.
He graduated in 2009.
He is a former Chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee in the National Assembly.
Nyoro is a successful businessman with interests in stock brokerage.
He is one of the largest individual shareholders at the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC).
In the past, Ndindi has revealed that he had made a profit of Sh244 million over four years since he began investing at Kenya Power.
“The investment has been accumulated over time. Several years back. We started off in stockbroking from the 1st year on campus (KU),” Nyoro said in a detailed Facebook post.
He noted that he ran a stockbroking firm for a while, "and
later a Private Equity (PE) firm. This specific counter is probably for the
last 3 or 4 years.”
