
President William Ruto has arrived in Migori County for the start of a three-day development tour aimed at launching and inspecting key projects across the region.
Accompanied by several elected leaders from the Nyanza region and top government officials, Ruto arrived Sunday morning at Kadika Primary School in Suna East.
He is attending an interdenominational church service before embarking on his development tour.
Among those who were at point to welcome him were Cabinet Secretaries Opiyo Wandayi (Energy), John Mbadi (Treasury), and Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo.
Others are Governor Ochillo Ayacko, Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda, and National Assembly Minority Leader Junet Mohamed, alongside other dignitaries.

After the church event, the president is scheduled to launch the construction of a Technical Training Institute (TTI) and unveil a Deputy County Commissioner’s office at Piny Oyie in Suna West.

On Monday, he will visit Rongo to inspect the Kosir ESP Market and unveil a building at Rongo Comprehensive School, with additional stops at Kosir and Rongo Town.

In Awendo, he is expected to launch the construction of an Animal Health Training Institute.
The President will also inspect the Uriri ESP Market and oversee the issuance of a school bus to St. Pius Uriri High School at Oria Market in North Kanyamkago.

On Tuesday, which is the final day, he is scheduled to inspect the Ntimaru ESP Market and the Affordable Housing Project in Ntimaru Town.
He will also preside over the issuance of a school bus to Gokeharaka Secondary School before proceeding to Narok County.
