
The government has announced recruitment for multiple positions across various ministries and state agencies.
The employment opportunities were advertised in Tuesday’s issue of My Gov.
The Ministry of Public Service and Human Capital Development has invited applications for 200 qualified drivers to be deployed in all 47 counties under the Ministry of Education.
Nairobi leads with 13 vacancies, followed by Meru, Wajir, and Nakuru with eight positions each.
Turkana, Bungoma, and Kajiado counties have seven openings each, while Kitui, Mandera, Uasin Gishu, Nandi, and Machakos have six positions each.
Application requirements include a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D plain or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution and a valid driving license with any current endorsement(s) for the class(es) of vehicle(s) an officer is required to drive.
A candidate must also have at least 2 years of driving experience,
attended a first-aid certificate course lasting not less than one week at any recognized
institution, have a police clearance certificate and passed a suitability test
for grade III.
The notice said the shortlisted applicants will receive a salary scale of Sh19,340 to Sh24,470 per month and house, commuter& leave allowances under permanent terms of service.
Qualified candidates should fill application for employment form available on the Public Service Commission (PSC) website www.publicservice.go.ke, and attach copies of the certificate required.

Assistant directors- examinations and EA, principal ICT officer, ICT officers, planning officer, examination officers, human resource management officers, exam administrators and clerks are some of the positions available.

Kiambu National Polytechnic is looking for a counsellor, clinical officer, 2 secretaries, and a mechanical and plumbing technician.

The notice added an available position for a deputy director in transport and planning at the Ministry of Roads and Transport.
