Nyeri announces 47 vacancies in four departments

The County Government of Nyeri has invited applications for 47 job vacancies in four departments.

In a paid advertisement, the county said applications for the jobs should be received on or before April 3, 2025, at 5.00 pm.

“The full details of the job descriptions, requirements for appointments, and the employment Form can be accessed on the website www.nyeri.go.ke,” the advertisement reads.

The county announced vacancies in the Department of Health Services, Department of Transport, Public Works, Infrastructure and Energy, Department of Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development, and Department of Education and Devolution.

Vacancies in the Department of Health Services include radiographer (two posts), medical engineering technologist (one post), medical engineer (one post), pharmaceutical technologist (two posts), mortuary attendant/mortician (one post), orthopedic trauma technician (two posts), registered clinical officer (three posts), registered nurse (four posts) and medical officer (four posts).

In the Department of Transport, Public Works, Infrastructure, and Energy, the vacancies are assistant engineer-structural (one post), assistant engineer-mechanical (one post), building inspector (two posts), road inspector (two posts), inspector fire services (one post) and electrical technician (two posts).

The Department of Lands, Physical Planning, and Urban Development has 15 vacancies for support staff positions.

The Department of Education and Devolution has three vacancies for the Principal Education Officer position.

The county said any communication from the County Public Service Board shall be through the address and cellphone provided in the advertisement.

“The County Public Service Board does not charge for any of the recruitment exercises, including shortlisting and appointment. Any request for payment or favor should therefore be reported to the police for appropriate action,” the county said.

The County Government of Nyeri said it is an equal opportunity employer and urged Persons Living with disability, marginalised and minorities groups to apply for the jobs.
