Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Saturday took the government’s economic empowerment drives to Molo and Laikipia East Constituencies.

Speaking during the forums, Kindiki appraised residents on the measures government is undertaking in various areas including education, health, infrastructure development as well as economic policies to improve their livelihoods.

He also handed motorcycles and car washing machines to some youths as a way of empowering them.

“The economy is built from the bottom going up. That is why we are empowering those at the bottom of the economic pyramid,” Kindiki stated.

The Deputy President was accompanied by leaders including Kimani Ichungwah (Majority Leader, National Assembly), MPs Kuria Kimani (Molo), David Gikaria (Nakuru Town East), Charity Kathambi (Njoro), Mwengi Mutuse (Kibwezi West), Liza Chelule (Nakuru County MP), MCAs and other grassroots leaders also present.

In Laikipia he was also accompanied by area MP Mwangi Kiunjuri among others.
